CoyoteCast

Frequently asked questions

Is there a review or approval step before something goes live?

No. A submission publishes without a further approval step. This is deliberate: access to your organization's form and folder is the access control, and a second approval step would bring back the delay CoyoteCast exists to remove. Treat a submission as final when you submit it.

Can a post be recalled after publishing?

Not through CoyoteCast. Once a network accepts a post it exists there, and you remove it through that network's own app. CoyoteCast doesn't request the permissions that would let it delete content.

Why did only some networks publish?

Networks are published to independently, so one can fail while the others succeed. The usual causes are a video over that network's size or length limit, or a connection that needs reauthorizing. The confirmation email lists each network separately so the gap is visible.

How long does publishing take?

A web-form post usually starts within seconds and a folder drop within about five minutes. Large videos take longer, because networks are uploaded to one at a time and video networks do their own processing afterwards.

I renamed a file in our folder to fix a typo. Will it still post?

Yes. Uploading, moving a file into the folder, and renaming it all count. Once a media file and caption file with the same name are both in the folder, the post goes ahead.

Can we schedule a whole week at once?

Yes. Submit each post with its own scheduled time. There's no queue limit and no minimum spacing between scheduled posts.

How do we connect our accounts?

Through a private setup link we send you. Whoever manages each account signs in on that platform's own authorization page. Some platforms also require a business or creator account.

Can one organization see another's content or accounts?

No. Each organization has its own members, folder and account connections, and members can only post for their own organization.

How much does it cost?

Pricing is set per organization. See Get started.
